"Snails are in danger! Pulled from their natural habitat and plopped into a bowl, a pack of snails are about to be cooked! Make a break for the open window - you must help them roll to safety avoiding salt, knives, and other kitchen hazards along the way."
Snail Break is a casual tilt-based game for the iPad in which you help a group of snails navigate the dangers of the kitchen to escape back into the garden. On this game I collaborated with a small group (3-4) of talented programmers and 3D artists under the umbrella The Box Fort (http://www.theboxfort.com).
My responsibilties included :
- creating the overall visual style of the project
- designing the User Interface
- prototyping the User Interaface
- texture Painting
- creating the storyboard illustrations
- level design
- contributing to the publicity (blogging, tweeting, etc)
