Name Eric KrampAbout As a freelance designer, Eric has performed design & animation work for clients such as Frog Design, 415 Inc, Logue Studio Design, and Whizabang LLC. In addition to his client work, Eric continues to develop several of his own projects as a founding member of The Box Fort. With a particular interest in interaction design, Eric creates User Interfaces and Experiences that are elegant, intuitive and playful. He often incorporates his background in cartooning and animation with his interactive work as with his ongoing project, Stage'D. * Background: After graduating from the Animation Program at San Francisco State University, Eric joined the Institute for Next Generation Internet (INGI). At INGI, he helped to develop unique and cutting-edge applications for high-speed fiber networks; among them, the Brainstormer Project (currently known as COCODEEP ). While working on COCODEEP, Eric helped produce promotional videos as well as creating the first functional prototypes of the application; contributions include character animation, compositing and game programming. The project eventually went commercial, and Eric became a Lead Developer at COCO Studios Inc.
Stage'D is a highly accessible mash-up of comics, theater and video game animation in a story-telling game format. Since its launch in 2009, Stage'D has built a dedicated user base of educators who use Stage'D as a way to teach creative storytelling to students K-12. |
